Ooty – The Queen of Hill Stations

Ooty derived from Ootacamund alias Udhagamandalam, the queen of hill stations is located in the Nilgiris(Blue Mountains mountain range) in the state of Tamil Nadu, South India.

Ooty stands at an altitude of 2,286mtrs i.e 7,500ft and Dodabetta(2,623mtrs) the highest peak in South India is located here. The view from Dodabetta is spellbinding.

  1. u shud try kodai..its gt a touristy feel bout it.. fr sum reason, i prefer kodai 2 ooty..of course, kodai ws just 3 hrs away frm whr i did my graduation.. so we used 2 go2kodai 2 just get a cuppa cofffee n drive back πŸ˜›
